Halle Café Restaurant

1 review of Halle Café Restaurant

A fashionable place

Great

This is another fashionable Viennese hotspot, in the Museum Quarter - to be precise, in the Kunsthalle. Like the Leopold Cafe, this can be transformed into a quiet coffee shop by day, and a bustling pub/restaurant by night. This is part of chain, the work of Viennese designers who have other trendy bars to their name, Eichinger and Knechtl. It has a mix of styles, and has great food and beer, with cheap appetizers (the restaurant is a bit more expensive). To get there, you have to climb between the Kunsthalle and Mumok: the bar is accessed through a door on the right side of the Kunsthalle, halfway up the steps.
