Educate, promote and preserve
The Historic Seattle PDA (Seattle) is composed of individuals with expertise in architecture, urban planning, real estate development, engineering, finance and historic preservation. Four members of the board are appointed by the Mayor, another four members are elected by the members of the Seattle Historical Society, and four are designated by the board itself. Seattle Historic considers buildings to be an essential link to the past. It believes that they remind us of who we are and where we come from. Its mission is to educate, promote and preserve.
