Hospital of St. Mary of Mercy

The Hospital of St. Mary of Mercy is now home to the Tourist Office of the municipality of Ampudia Palencia. It is located in one of the two most important streets as street Ontiveros. This hospital was founded in 1455 by Pedro Garcia de Herrera, who was Marshal of Castile. From first it was a hospital to help the poor of the city with food and medicine, which was also in operation until 1930. It has 2 floors and its interior is distributed along a central courtyard, through which you can access the interior rooms and highlights their chapel.
