House Pombo

This palatial home was the residence of D. Pombo Arturo Polanco Villameriel and Bustamante, III Marquis of Pombo. It is a large, rectangular, four-storey palace, built in the XIX century. The highlight of the façade are the minarets towers located at both ends of the building, and the double columns topped with Corinthian capitals located in the central part, above the door. Inside the marble steps stand out. It is currently home to the Santander Royal Racing Club and is located in the square, also known as Pombo, in the centre of Santander.
