Green paradise

A fascinating place in the heart of London. If you are lucky and it's sunny out, you should spend as much time as you can. Londoners lay out on the green and enjoy the chance to spend the afternoon there walking, running, cycling, playing soccer, rowing, cycling ... You can do anything in this green paradise.

One of the wonders of the world.

Hyde Park is one of the best scenery and the largest open space in London. A wonderful place where people, both London and tourists can ride a bike, walk, lie down on the grass, and even rent chairs for sunbathing (even those I saw lying on sunbeds with umbrella have begun to open rain), you can also rent a rowboat to walk around the central lake. Place where you can disconnect from the noise of the big city, enjoy the silence of nature and admire the beauty of the park. Place of relaxation and admiration for nature. One of the curiosities of Hyde Park are oak benches donated by relatives of a deceased person and frequently went to the park as a place of relaxation, bank that you have recorded the name of the deceased as well as being "a place for eternity. " Is a small oasis in the heart of London for a great diversity of flora and fauna. Trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants proportional rich habitats for songbirds (robins, tits, ...). The abundant pigeons and squirrels threaten the survival of native songbirds. However much I like squirrels and attaching here as it shows a picture of them.

After a busy day exploring London, this place is an ideal place to rest, both physically and mentally. It is a delight to watch as squirrels scamper across the grass. One surprise that I took on my visit to this place was to address the meters looking sinks. Accustomed to the information of our country, I followed the trail about the situation told me what I wanted and I had to find a 300 m. And I found one that told me another direction and 600 m. I concluded that indicators guide you to follow through field direction, which here would seem a real sacrilege. It is curious how people occupy the effect placed hammocks for sunbathing or use their break to quietly read a book, on payment of a small fee. The boat used to take a walk by the lake is fed by batteries powered by solar panels on your roof takes.

The eight royal parks, hyde park is t...

The eight Royal Parks, Hyde Park is the largest (150ha). Like many Anglo-Saxon Park, Hyde Park has an open architecture and beneficial to all, from morning till night, it is open 19h a day. True "green lung" in the heart of London is very popular with athletes and families, with its open spaces and its artificial lake offers many activities: The Serpentine. Known for its historic concerts that saw through the Stones, Blur, Queen and many others, the park is not, however, remains at the architectural level as evidenced by its main entrance: The Hyde Park Corner and its triumphal arch ( Marble Arch). The park has also become a place of culture, over the monuments that have been erected as a memorial to Lady Di, or the Serpentine Gallery. Finally, to overcome the lawn sometimes burned by the sun in summer, chairs were made available in the park for anyone who would want to settle there. Perfect for relaxing while continuing to explore London before moving to the northern end of the famous Oxford Street, or in Kensington Gardens, crossing the Serpentine!

Hyde Park is a royal park, one of the largest in London and the country. It is reached by several subway stations, Hyde Park corner, southeast, south Knightsbridge, Marble Arch to the north east and north west Lancaster Gate. It is bordered by Kensington Gardens, or rather extended, because there is no barrier, if the large lake that is cut through the Serpentine, two, there are limits Kensington garden. Many believe that this is one large area garden. Serpentine lake is 11 hectares, it is crossed by a bridge which is the dividing point between the two gardens. There is a small part, called the Lido, which is open for swimming, the entrance fee. Serpentine will be used for the 2012 Olympics for triathlon swimming test. There is also a race on Christmas morning! The park opens from 5 am to midnight every day of the year. This former royal hunting reserve was opened to the public in 1637. There are several restaurants in the park, cafes, a Boathouse, who rents boats from March to October, and the famous speaker's corner, which is a place where anyone can come to express themselves, and generally brings all marginal London, came to announce their views on the end of the world or the British monarchy. This is not a place where one is protected from the law, but in general it is quite free to say what you think.

Hyde park

Both times I went to London, I could not help but go through this beautiful park that is also the largest in the center of London (140 hectares). There are so many things to discover there ... Loved eg lake filled with swans and ducks, statues and fountains throughout the trails, squirrels etc.. But I particularly liked the concept of speakers' Corner ("corner of the speaker")! This park is a place where everyone is invited to speak freely on the subject he wants. During one of my visits, there was a music festival held in the park. So I had the great joy to hear the distant voice of Bon Jovi playing on stage while I was walking the aisles of Hyde Park! But many other major rock stars have been there: the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Queen or Bruce Springsteen gave concerts in this famous park! In short, a great place and unmissable!

Hyde park

Walk through hyde park

I was recently in London for his job but the weekend I took the opportunity to walk around and learn more about one of the most interesting cities in the world. I really wanted to go to Hyde Park to walk, read and photograph and I did. Access is very easy because there is a metro stop very close and from here you enter this huge park. I was surprised by cultural diversity, that are well kept gardens, the diversity of fauna and how lucky I was with time. It is a unique place to stroll and get lost in nature in the heart of London. There are numerous terraces for coffee and you can rent a boat and get lost in the lake. When I will return with a shoe and will roll along the paths of the park where there are many people running.

The spectacular Hyde Park has no less than 142 hectares. The huge park was originally hunting grounds where King Henry VIII deer galloped towards ... Amazing, right? Today the park's flagship London has thousands of things to do. Children can ride ponies, there are tennis courts, fountains, cafés (The Lido is beautiful), a lake where you can rent a boat to paddle, picnic areas, secluded areas where there is only where huge trees and other flowers and shrubs are drawings of incredible colors. In the park you can do whatever you want. I love to cross it from Hyde Park Corner or Alexandra Gate to Cumberland Gate on my way to Notting Hill, a ride that I recommend.

The london central park

Hyde Park is to London what Central Park is to New York, the heart of the city. In total 145 hectares of gardens of Kensington Gardens separated only by the Serpentine lake that divides them. For about five pounds half an hour, you can rent a boat and sailing on the lake. A Hyde Park is about all kinds of people, Londoners and tourists, to relax, hike, play with the kids ... It is the largest park in London, may not be the prettiest but also its central location makes it the most accessible to relax during a hectic tour of the city. A curiosity: It is very interesting to see uniformed soldiers pass through every morning to step Whitehall Road.

The largest park in london

Hyde Park is the largest park in central London, and although it is smaller than Central Park, it is still very large, and even has a lake inside which there are many ducks and sailing a boat. On nice days, it is common to see people sunbathing on the sun loungers there in the park and playing on their extensive lawns. If you visit this beautiful park, a council. Bring a bag of peanuts to attract squirrels, Hyde Park main claim. In the park there is a tour in memory of Princess Diana, being the main place the fountain in his memory.

Green lung of london

Here we are in the largest green space in London, it promises a beautiful walk. A large expanse of grass and trees, water plants, squirrels, memorials, a museum ... there's plenty to do! It picnic, you can swim, there is horse riding and of course we will listen to speakers on the London "speaker's corner". It is a well known place that comes alive every Sunday, where it is possible to express ideas, to defend a cause, to criticize the government ... well almost everything is allowed and what or before a crowd of anonymous and curious.

Peace

Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London. The Hyde Park! At one time it was the royal hunting ground, but over the years it became home to duels, horse and even huge potato field during the Second World War! Today the park is surrounded by greenery and you can take a walk through the numerous trails in the park, even on horseback! Admire the beautiful statues of Jacob Epstein, Henry Moore and even the Serpentine Gallery, which exhibits contemporary art. Also remember, the Peter Pan Cup, a unique swimming competition that takes place in the open-enrollment Serpentine Lake on Christmas Day, and whose participants, in addition to shine for the resistance, the vast majority have over 60 years of age .

A day of sun in the park

Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London, England and one of the Royal Parks of London, famous for its Speakers' Corner. The park is divided in two by the Serpentine. The park is contiguous with Kensington Gardens; although sometimes assumed to be part of Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens has been technically separate since 1728, when Queen Caroline made a division between the two. Hyde Park has a dimension of 350 acres (140 ha / 1.4 km ²) and Kensington Gardens, 275 acres (110 ha) resulting in a total area of 625 acres (250 ha), making it larger than the Principality of Monaco ( 1.96 km ² or 485 acres). Although, during the day, the two seem to merge parks, Kensington Gardens closes at dusk while Hyde Park is open from 5 pm until midnight, including many hours of darkness.
