Ibn Chabbat Square

Just behind the Av Habib Bourguiba (East), entering through an arch, we get to the Chabbat Place, one of the biggest and most vibrant city in Tozeur. It is the Central Market and a whole craft positions conglomerate whose goods are set out in the street, not revealing the facades decorated with brick reliefs that are so typical in this city . In these places you can find baskets and ceramic objects, dates, desert roses, and some souvenirs. Although tourists pass through here to enter Medina, this is a site frequented more by the locals as it is where they often make their everyday purchases.
