Synonymous with Christmas
The ice rink at Rockefeller Center has been made famous by countless Christmas movies set in New York. Since its founding in 1936, it has become synonymous with American Christmas. We didn't visit during Christmas exactly, but nevertheless our trip here felt like being inside a snow-globe. It's quite cheap, with discount coupons available online. Races and choreographed routines by young and old, experienced veterans and novices, all take place under the gaze of the bronze Prometheus, the Titan who stole fire from the gods and gave it to mankind.
