Busy in the mornings
This square is the first small green spot that you come across when you arrive in Greenwich Village. Placed in a large roundabout, it is busy in the morning, frequented by office workers who have their breakfast coffee on a bench, newspaper in hand, before going to work. With luck, you may also come across a squirrel or two looking for food on the green.
