Jinmao tower

That night we looked into the river, and suddenly the city appeared. Lets forget for a moment about the number of Chinese people around us and remain awe-struck at the sight of the spectacular lights and towers, all very impressive. Viewing this tower from its base is very scary .... but really very impressive.

Jin mao tower

Pinyin: Jin Mao Dàshà, literally "Golden Prosperity Building") is a skyscraper located in the district of Pudong in Shanghai, China. Designed by architect Adam Smith of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with its 420.5 meters and 88 floors was until 2007 the tallest building in China and the fifth in the world. Inspired by traditional Chinese architecture and proportions revolve around the number 8 (number associated with prosperity in Chinese culture), now contains offices and the Shanghai Grand Hyatt hotel. Apart from the 88th floor observatory (Skywalk), you can enjoy panoramic views of the city from the bar Plant 87 (Cloud 9), or enjoy a drink at the Jazz club plant 53.

Jin mao tower

Hyatt buffet

In the area I recommend Pudon climb to the 54th floor of the Hyatt. There you can enjoy a spectacular buffet and stunning views. The "picture" typical Pudong is reserved for hotel guests, but you can dine from the heights and other views of the new business area of Shanghai. The price is not cheap, about 40 euros per person but you can eat as many lobsters, scallops, shrimp, duck, pig .... whatever you want. There are many varieties of seafood and meat, especially, with chefs preparing there. And everything is amazingly good! Of course, leave room for dessert, because that's another feast!

Bufet hyatt

The Jinmao Tower is one of the most eye-serre ing skyscrapers in Shanghai and across Asia as he is with his eighty-eight storeys and 420.5 meters above sea level in the sixth position in the ranking of the world's tallest buildings. For its time it was the tallest tower in China, although these lists become obsolete faster and faster. To reach its highest point, costs about 5 euros, and the experience is worth it, because there you have the best view of the city, even better than in the neighboring Orient Pearl. Its facade is inspired by Art Deco, and its elevators are Ultra Fast. In the upper floors of the Hotel Grand Hyatt is located. The underground station is Lujiazui.

The best pictures that you can do in ...

The best pictures that you can do in the city of Shanghai are undoubtedly those taken by the Jin Mao Tower, 492 meters high. Inside you will find no less impressive Hotel Grand Hyatt, if you climb up to the 88th floor you will see the hotel reception. The hotel is from floor 53 to floor 87, as the plane 88, as I said, the floor of the reception where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Shanghai. The hotel offers 8 restaurants around so you can choose the one which most like. Do you feel, no doubt, to look down, the tallest person in the world.
