Kilchoman Distillery Cafe

Kilchoman is the smallest and newest distillery on the island. As far as possible they try to use locally sourced ingredients. The distillery is on a converted cattle farm and they even grow some of their own barley.

We did a guided tasting of five of their expressions (12 pounds per person). Since this a new distillery the tasting was from new-make spirit to their 10 year old birthday edition. They are experimenting a lot with flavor and maturation and some of their traditional distilleries are taking in interest in their younger releases.
