Crag of the small hill

The west of Scotland is one of the oldest landscapes in Europe, so very unique rock formations can be found here. Knockan Crag is a series of cliffs located 21 miles north of Ullapool if you're following the A385 road. The title means "crag of the small hill." In the visitor center which is located next to this road, there are explanations of different geological formations that are visible from the lookout, as well as games for kids explaining how this landscape was formed.
