Trendy ruin bar in an old garage
Kuplung is currently one of the best and most popular ruin pubs in Budapest's District VII. Why? Well, aside from hosting concerts, art exhibits, resident artists, and performances of all kinds, it's also a fun and rowdy bar and night spot. Located in an abandoned mechanic's shop on Kiraly Utca, Kuplung contains several bars and different spaces like an ample outdoor terrace, a dance hall with DJs and live music, and a vast amount of cool little corners with comfy sofas, Foosball machines, or amazing graffiti.
Another nice thing about Kuplung is that there's something happening more or less any time of day. If you want to enjoy coffee and conversation or perhaps a mid-afternoon film screening, that's an option. If you just want to have a few beers with your friends in a chill atmosphere, you can find that too. If you want to dance until 5:00 in the morning in an alcohol-fueled party with tons of fun-loving locals, well...Kuplung's the place!
