La Recontre
La Rencontre, or ¨the meeting¨, is a restaurant in the old heart of Essaouira. It is well-situated near the sea, and has a panoramic terrace on the roof, from where you can see the sea and a beautiful sunset. A menu costs 85 dirhams, 8 euros, which comes with a Moroccan salad (cucumbers, tomatoes and cumin), a fish tagine with vegetables or chicken tagine, and a dessert of oranges with cinnamon. The other menu is 90dh with a tomato salad, grilled sole and a chocolate or fruit crepe. The fish is delicious and the prices aren´t extremely high.
