The most famous in the world

The Scala theater is one of the most important theatres in the world. Open since 2004, when the restoration was finished after the damage suffered in World War II, the theatre represents work by the best artists of the genre. Interestingly, all operas are required to finish before midnight. In addition, the theatre has a museum with works of art, busts and costumes from different periods and all related to the world of opera. The most expensive tickets cost € 2,000 (during the season opening) and the cheapest tickets cost €15.

I muchsimo taste disfrut!

Go see an opera at La Scala in Milan was one of my big dreams! So look at the website of the Scala season program and decided on Salome. The dates I came good, and to be the first opera to which was one of Wagner would have been too. The ticket is a struggle, opens at 9 am and mouse in hand you have to fight for being the fastest, because they go on sale online only 20%, so you have to hurry! You can buy a maximum of two entries per record. They cost me € 70, very good price! First row of the second floor and sent them home, a couple of weeks before the date of the performance. From that place looked really good and you had a small screen with opera subtitles in English and Italian, as sung in the original German. As the protocol, men should go with suit jacket and tie and women with short dress, so we were well, and although we saw some jeans (a Spanish couple) the other people were in suits. Although the protocol has relaxed a bit, we can not forget that it is the Scala of Milan. I loved it, I enjoyed like you would not think it is a fantastic experience, and when dates permit me, I will try again. I keep the entries as if it were a treasure!

Me gusto muchísimo, ¡disfruté!

The "teatro alla scala" is a monument...

The "Teatro alla Scala" is a monument to culture in the center of Milan, a few steps from Piazza Duomo. The building was built in neoclassical style by architect Giuseppe Piermarini on the ashes of the "Teatro Ducale" in 1776, by order of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria and was opened in 1778. Its name derives from the place where the theater was built, near the church of "Santa Maria alla Scala". It was the first monument rebuilt after the bombing of 1943. Many famous names have passed the stage that is the direction of the theater, becoming one of the Scala opera houses and ballet most important in Europe. In 1920 Arturo Toscanini (1867-1957) took over the theater promoting a radical reform. Welcomes the musical heritage of Verdi while establishing a tradition in the works of Wagner; expands the repertoire of theatrical and symphonic orchestra. Since 1951 theater season begins on December 7th, day of Sant'Ambrogio, patron of Milan Tickets for the first night ("la prima") are worth gold. In 1997 the Teatro Alla Scala becomes a foundation, starting a decisive phase of modernization. Between January 2002 and December 2004, the theater goes through deeper reform and modernization of the building stage. During this period the "Teatro degli Arcimboldi," Bicocca neighborhood, hosts performances of Scala. On the night of December 7, 2004 the director and conductor Riccardo Muti opens the new facilities with the work "Riconosciuta Europe" by Salieri, the same that had opened in 1778. For the season 2010 - 2011, the theater will present 20 shows, 14 of opera and ballet 6, in what will be the greatest gift offer season in 20 years.

The temple of opera

Teatro alla Scala Built between 1776 and 1778 Many technical and artistic qualities characterize the building, which is the first and undisputed temple of opera. Takes the place of the Gothic church of Santa Maria della Scala, from which the name. The true post-war reconstruction was celebrated by a triumphant concert conducted by Arturo Toscanini (1946). A major renovation project was instead made in 2000, completed in 2004, and to whom we owe the modern addition visible from the outside used on the stage. The opening concert of the theater season is every year on December 7, the day of the patron saint of the city of Milan, and is a historic event for both the authorities and meeting famous people, and for the many disputes over the years have been linked to different topical. PIazza the scale drift by the fall of houses located in front of the theater of the same name. Beltrami helped forge the image by designing the front and rear of Palazzo Marino side buildings of the Italian Commercial Bank. In the center a monument to Leonardo da Vinci.

Just the name carries. La Scala Opera House in Milan and one of the largest in the world. It dates from 1778 and has its beginning it was not of great importance, especially as he was challenged by another opera in Milan itself. But in the first half of the 19th century, Verdi at La Scala is to present the first of his works. The popularity of opera augment then. La Scala plays many masterpieces within its walls as well as ballets. La Scala has just reopened since it was closed five years due to renovations.

Famous scala

In the heart of Milan, close to the cathedral and the famous Galleria Emanuele II, La Scala is undoubtedly one of the most famous theaters in the world, known for its prestigious performances of classical music. The building, itself, is really nothing special and may even disappoint the visitor, especially after admiring the splendor of the cathedral. Built in 1776, the theater is still richly decorated inside with beautiful decorations and red leather armchairs ... A cultural stage.

The famous la scala theater in milan ...

The famous La Scala theater in Milan is one of the most prestigious venues in the world. The opera, which opened in 1778, has hosted big names like Verdi or Wagner, or many stars of ballet. The visit is incredible, but in a performance in that place must be truly exceptional.

A luxury to be visited

The Teatro alla Scala in Milan is one of the world's most famous theaters. It was built in 1776 at the behest of Archduchess Maria Theresa of Austria on the ruins of the church of Santa Maria della Scala (hence its name). One of the temples in the world in terms of theater and opera. It worked the greatest conductors, the most famous operas in history as the great soprano Monserrat Caballé, Pavarotti .... A luxury theater not to miss the opportunity to visit. It is located in the center of Milan, near the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (called the Hall of Milan) and Piazza del Duomo.
