La Taverna di Via Stella

A traditional restaurant in the centre of Verona where you're guaranteed a good meal. The environment is warm and cozy with wooden decor. The symbol of the restaurant is a gold belt buckle covered with rubies, emeralds and pearls, found during excavations in the Via Trezza, and attributed to Cangrande della Scala. The menu offers simple traditional dishes. I tried the bigoli with duck sauce, and amarone risotto. They also offer pasta, beans, and cod served with polenta.
