An interesting place to visit
Located about tens of miles from New Orleans and its famous French Quarter, on the road to Baton Rouge known as Plantation Road, Laura Alley is one of the main plantations still open to the public. It is a particularly interesting place to visit, where we can learn about, thanks to highly skilled guides (who are funny, warm and cultured) the whole history of the family who owned this plantation, covering 3 generations. You can see the offices and also the slave quarters. An interesting slice of history.
