On our last visit to the region of Oban...

Excellent

On our last visit to the region of Oban we decided to return to stop at the village of Connel to take a drink at the Oyster Inn which we like a lot. When we got out of the car we were able to see the water of Loch Etive, bathed in the last rays of sun with the background silhouettes of some of the inner Hebrides. It was simply beautiful and you could almost hear nothing. So we decided to sit down and look at the sunset until the sun disappeared. We had been several times around this lake, which is about 32 km boundary and consists mostly of sea water, merging with it in Connel, where you can see the famous bridge and the current creations of the water there.
