Los Almendros Restaurant

Los Almendros is a culinary institution in Yucatan. We tried the local specialties, Yucatecan chicken leg grilled pork, tacos, etc. We could almost not leave the table at the end of the meal because we were so full. With 60 years of history, Los Almendros is a tradition in Merida and known for its authentic Yucatecan food. It is the creator of the famous poc-chuc a roast pork served with chili, tomato, onion, string beans and tortilla. There are restaurants in Merida, Ticul (on the Chetumal road) and Cancun (Av.
