Los lobos island

Exploring the Beagle Channel is an incredible experience, after starting from the tourist port of Ushuaia, the vessel then heads towards the channel's center, going past several islands with sea lions, and afterwards passing through the Lighthouse at the End of the World (http :/ /' http://www.minube.com/rincon/faro-del-fin-del-mundo--ushuaia-a86814') leads to Wolf Island. The boat gets really close to what you're seeing (and smelling, there's a really horrible smell). The catamaran usually stays there for about 15-20 minutes so you can enjoy watching the animals for awhile.

Dances with wolves

To reach the island Lobos take a boat in Punta del Este, there are about 10 km, so the journey is short. On the island are two types of wolves live, fur seals and sea lions, with 180,000 copies of the first, which has two layers of hair, males weigh up to 140 kg and measure 180 cm. 's Sea lion population of 15,000, and you can see also in the port of Punta del Este, swimming around the fishing boats and near the fish market, hoping to shed the remains of fish. The males measure up to 230 cm. And weigh 340 lbs, and have a huge head with impressive mustaches. The island is a marine reserve and therefore would not let me throw me to swim with the wolves, which distressed me, remembering how I enjoyed the Galapagos and swimming with them in Australia.
