Manchester Town Hall

One of UK's most impressive town halls was completed in 1887. Although its style is almost always defined as Victorian, it is really English Gothic Revival style.
It is really impressive to see and I recommended to walk around the building to see its majestic construction.
The town-hall of Manchester is certainly one of the most splendid example of this city's wealth. It is the second largest city in the United Kingdom and was one of the most prosperous cities in Europe during the industrial revolution. For lovers of art and especially architecture, a visit is highly recommended.

We decided to walk around the city, we started in the shopping area and went towards the Mosi (the museum of science and technology). After passing an area full of fast-food restaurants, offices and pubs, we arrived in a large square where the City Hall is located. On our walk, we saw two interesting things: An irish flag atop of the City Hall (it was getting close to St. Patrick's Day) and a ton of Italian tourists dresses in their teams' colours (our trip coincided with the Inter Milan/Manchester United match). The building itself was Victorian, but it has a Westminster feel, even though there is a huge size difference.
