Rifugio Maranza

Located in a beautiful panoramic position above Trento, the Maranza shelter offers you a unique view over the Brenta Dolomites, the city, and the other nearby peaks. Getting there from Trento is a no-brainer: go up from the city in the direction of Oltrecastello, then continue on the path in the woods. It will take you about a quarter of an hour to reach it. It was completely restored in 2008, and it's always packed at the weekend in spring and summer. Here you can enjoy some regional dishes, drink good wine and savour the scents of nature. The prices are reasonable, and the service is fast.
