A famous street
The Mathew Street is, without doubt, the most famous street in Liverpool. This is where you'll find the Cavern Club, where the Beatles played their first concerts. There are several shops selling Beatlemania memorabilia. Opposite the Cavern Club is the Liverpool Walk of Fame, which honors the bands that played in this historic club. The famous statue of John Lennon is also on this street, as well as a bar that bears his name. Walking along this street, you can almost hear Beatles songs in the air!
