Merapi Volcano

This is the last volcano I that I climbed last year in August. Later that year, in December , it erupted, killing many people and burying much of the place. This volcano is 2911 meters high and is located near the second largest city in Indonesia, Yogyakarta. There are numerous companies that will take you up to climb the volcano, although it is a pretty tough trek of about 8 hours of climbing and about 5 going down.
