1 review of Drymen Lookout

An obscure attraction

I was trying to find a historical church in this town, but instead I came across a miniscule sign that read 'viewpoint', with no further explanation. After about five minutes of walking through a beautiful natural area, I arrived at the lookout. From this point you can see the estuary of the River Clyde, which later crosses the city of Glasgow, and Ben Lomond, as well as some of the Trossachs mountains. It was very nice but not very well-signposted so, curious, I asked the Best Western hotel receptionist, ve told me that this is a popular spot for marriage proposals in the village.
