Best of the world's tea in Seattle

Step into Seattle's vibrant Ballard neighborhood and you'll find some amazing restaurants and shops. Among them is a lovely, quality tea shop; Miro Tea. Miro was established to connect their community with the world's finest grades of tea, and they certainly do just that. They know what they're doing when it comes to tea, and they feature hundreds of handpicked, exceptional varieties. They prepare it the best way possible, and are very helpful when it comes to choosing. My stop here was lovely. I ordered an iced berry hibiscus lemonade, sampled some really nice hot teas while it was being prepared, and chatted with the friendly tea experts.

Seattle is known as coffee central, the home of Starbuck's, ubiquitous coffee houses, and java junkies. Don't be fooled, though. We have excellent teahouses too. Miro Tea, on historic Ballard Avenue in the Ballard district north of downtown, is a neighborhood treasure with fine tea, extravagant crepes, gluten-free baked treats, and tasty sandwiches.
