Mississippi River

One section of the shores of the Mississippi have been cleaned or cleared and converted into public paths. From Beale Street to the south, and to the vicinity of Jefferson Avenue, in the north. Some companies offer tours along the river that last from half an hour to as long as two hours. It's a pleasant walk to recapture the atmosphere of yesteryear, or simply walk along the banks.

Its wide and slow flow is like a presence which you can feel in every person, building or landscape.
