On the hill overlooking Monrupino, right on the border between Italy and Slovenia, you'll find a stone church - very original in terms of its architecture - and a defensive fortress built in medieval times, and gradually strengthened by large walls built to repel barbarian invasions. From the courtyard on top of the hill, you can enjoy a view that extends all around.
