Monte Palace Tropical Garden

When I took the cable car to reach this site, I didn't realise I was on the verge of discovering one of the most beautiful botanical gardens I've ever seen in my life. There are plants from around the world, as the climate here is very suitable for growing them: azaleas, heathers, different types of trees, giant ferns and encephalartos, which are regarded as living fossils.
