Morro of Sao Paulo Fort

Tapirandu Fortress is its historical name, but everyone knows it as Fort Morro de Sao Paulo. It used to be one of the largest and most strategic fortresses in Brazil, and today is national heritage site. Construction began in 1630 to protect the "Bay of All Saints" and here remains 700 m of wall. The construction took almost a century. Being near the lighthouse, it's a perfect place to watch the sunset, I came back after visiting the lighthouse and the fort in the morning!
