Mudejar Churches of Aracena

Aracena is a town full of history. You will find many buildings that display the different eras that these people lived in. The buildings that caught my attention were the different Mudejar buildings. This style has always striked me as one of the most beautiful. Most of the Moorish buildings to be found in Aracena are churches of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. One of the most beautiful is the parish church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen. This church is located in the center of town, next to the main square and the casino. It was also built in the sixteenth century and has three naves with rectangular pillars and pointed arches.
