One of the oldest hotels in the city
The Hotel Neptun is part of the Clarion chain. It is a luxury hotel with views across the sea and, on the other side, another island. It is in a quiet, residential area, but just a five-minute walk from the Nyhavn, a touristy port area with lots of restaurants and bars. Rooms cost 900 SEKper night, or a little more than 120 euros. They are comfortable and feature antique decor. The hotel opened in 1854, making it one of the oldest in the city. It was once a meeting point for bohemians and artists, but today it's more popular with businessmen and families. No smoking on site, animals are welcome.
