Retosachi is a place nestled in the Sierra Tarahumara, difficult to access because most of the journey is by dirt road. It is approximately 12 hours from Chihuahua City and that depends on the weather and the type of vehicle that you go in. It is an unforgettable experience, light years away from technology, electricity cell phones and is the perfect place to go if you want to find yourself, meditate and admire nature. The native people of the region, the Tarahumara, fill it with a fantastic culture and vividly coloured clothes. The well known international pianist Romayne Wheeler lives in the famous Eagle's Nest, a construction on the rocks of the canyon with a window overlooking the canyon.
