Notre Dame Des Sablons

There is a strange mix of old and modern art in the Church of Notre Dame des Sablons, which is in the center of the medieval town of Aigues Mortes. Different styles exist together and make the place special. It is the oldest church, but the colorful windows are a result of restoration in the '60s. It's worth it to sit awhile and enjoy the color changes that occur the sunlight. Sometimes there is a more natural green and other times a dreamlike blue and so on. In the end, this play of light focuses your attention on them and time passes almost unnoticed this interesting medieval church.
