Old Cairo Bazaar

Not a great souq, but this great shop has all the basic stuff you would want to bring home if you have little time, and can only visit this neighborhood. You need to haggle, the prices are generally half of what is advertised. They sell tourist books, with images of churches from the neighborhood, which are interesting to visit if you have a guide to accompany you. There are statues, postcards, fabrics ... And also papyri. The place is in one of the old houses of the fortress of Babylon.
