On the Banks of the Mekong
The Mekong River forms the backbone of Southeast Asia. It is well known from many famous battles featured in movies but today it is very calm. From my pension in Nong Khai, from its little garden I feel absolute peace and can see the river and everything at the side of it. I write, others draw and some just hang out. And we could spend eternity staring at the river.
