Opera de Monte-Carlo

The Opera of Monte Carlo can be found right at the back of the casino and facing one of the most beautiful views of the Mediterranean. This building definitely left me speechless and I like it better than its predecessor, the casino. The building dates back to 1863 and was designed by Charles Garnier, who's the same architect who designed the Paris Opera. And I can assure you it has nothing on Monte Carlo!. I recommend walking around the building, looking at it from different angles, but more than anything, going down the stairs that lead you to different roof gardens that will give you some of the most beautiful views of the Principality.
