A quiet place
Behind Vitoria Eugenia Theatre, this restaurant/cafe has marble tables and a bar where you can read the newspaper. Not only is it spacious, but the snacks (small), with ham and peppers are excellent. Its walls are lined with images of artists from the cinema. Good atmosphere and friendly service - a good, quiet spot to take a break. They have a lunch menu at a good price. Next door is a library that it's perhaps better not to enter, as they only speak in Basque there, in a mission to restore the language.
