Orchid

The Orchid is the restaurant in the Studley Hotel, located on a quiet street just a little ways outside downtown Harrogate. It is a modern place with a lounge and fashionable music. The kitchen specialized in cuisine from Asian countries like Malaysia, Japan, and Singapore. You could call is pan-Asian. Outside, there's a terrace for when the weather permits outdoor dining. Examples of entrees (all between 6 and 10 pounds each) are Thai fish cakes, Japanese shrimp tempura, crispy fried shrimp, or Malaysian chicken satay. The seafood entrees are 15 pounds, and there is also meat, crispy duck, Philippine-style steak Tagalog, and others.
