Taller than the Eiffel Tower
If you're in Moscow, you can't miss Ostankino Tower. It stands 540m tall, that's 220 more than the Eiffel Tower! The best way to see it is on the monorail, which runs through the tower; however, I'm not sure it's worth actually stopping there. There's a restaurant in the tower, but it's been closed since a fire in 2004. On the other side of the tower is a park with a pond and some historical monuments. It is by far the most impressive building in Moscow.
