The courthouse is to the right of the city's congress, in a marble building with large waterfalls. In total, it's about 23 thousand square metres, spread over six floors with works by the artists Oscar Niemeyer and Lucio Costa. Half of the ground floor is a public library with about 80,000 works on law, sociology, history and philosophy. It is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. And to visit the Palace, which houses the Ministry of Justice, the hours are from 9 to 11 and from 15h to 17h, Monday through Friday.
