Parlor Steakhouse

New York has a thousand and one steakhouse and they're all generally good and invariably expensive. Parlor Steakhouse, on the other hand, has great steaks but the price is a bit more reasonable (this might be because it had just opened when I visited). For my taste, the presentation of the dishes was even better than the more famous Smith & Wollenski or Delmonico's - but the environment is, in my opinion, Parlor's winning point. It's located on the corner of 3rd Avenue and 90th Street, within walking distance of the Guggenheim and the Metropolitan Museums so it's a perfect place to wrap up your day of museum-going..
