Was once a holy place

There are two trails you can take to get to this cave sometimes known as the Cathedral, one of the biggest in the island’s interior.

Once (a long time ago), it was a holy place for the Talaiot groups. One of the trails begins in the municipality of Es Migjorn and you can follow the signs towards Cova des Coloms until a public parking area. Then ditch the car, grab the backpack and provisions, and hit the trail through the pines and oaks.
After around 20 minutes walking, you’ll see some graffiti on a rock which spells out the name of the cave. This is the entrance.

You can find the other trail by going up from the Binigaus beach in Santo Tomás and following the Camí de Cavalls.
