One of the oldest rinks in Europe
The City Park Ice Rink is one of the largest and oldest rinks in Europe. It's located at the edge of City Park, between Heroes' Square and Vajdahunyad Castle. Every winter, a small lake is transformed into an open-air ice rink open to both locals and tourists. I have to say, taking a few laps around the rink is a good way to warm up when it's -15 degrees outside! I'd recommend stopping by if you're visiting Budapest in winter.
