An old residential mansion and now the pavillion
Along with the Prefecture of Martinique is Bougenot Pavillon, a typical bourgeois residential mansion from the 1887, inspired by the architectural style of Louisiana. It has 2 stories and is surrounded by lovely gardens. It was Eugène´s property and later passed to his son, Emile Bougenot. Now it is a pavilion with the Schoelcher Library, and the Centre for New Technologies: Internet corner and documentation center.
