3 reviews of Pearl Harbor / World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument

Sacred place for Hawaii

Pearl Harbor is not only a sacred place for Hawaii, but for the rest of the United States as well. On 7th December 1941 Japan's attack against the American naval base killed 2,390 people and left the harbour and surrounding areas in ruins. There are several museums in the complex, however the biggest attraction is the USS Arizona where most of the people died that day and where their bodies are still under water.
