People's Palace

The People's Palace in Glasgow is located in the Glasgow Green Park. It is free and open daily until 5pm. It provides a look at the evolution of the population of Glasgow, how they got there to work in factories and industries, what they ate, thought, how they dressed and more. Even attempts to limit alcohol consumption in that region, based on 21 servings rations for the week ( they still represent a liter and a half a day, and is regarded as "normal and healthy"!), leisure, dance ... There is also a section on the war, the Scots fought alongside the British, despite not to love them, because they were the same country.

Perfect for spending a couple of hours, also has a little cafe.
