1 review of Porthtowan Beach

A surf spot in Cornwall

Good

Porthtowan beach is a beach in the county of Cornwall on the southern tip of England, located near the small village of the same name. It is a wild, sandy beach of about 2 kilometers, surrounded by rocky cliffs. It is a famous surf spot, with a surf school available on the beach. Ripcurl sponsors the annual Longboard competition here. It's also a popular place for hiking because of its beautiful surroundings. At low tide you can reach the beach straight from Porthtowan village, by following the shore.
