Portsmouth Historic Dockyard

If you're spending time in Portsmouth, be sure to devote a few hours to this area, where you can see ships in perfect condition. They include HMS Warrior, a real warship dating back to 1860, and Admiral Nelson's own HMS Victory, the pride of the British fleet. The Mary Rose museum is particularly worth visiting, with its antique warships. Other parts of the area are dedicated to more museums, as well as creative activities for children.
