Central and busy

Preciados Street is the shopping street of Madrid par excellence. It goes from Callao Square to Puerta del Sol, which makes it one of the most central and busiest street in the entire city. There are endless stores, from various El Corte Inglés to la FNAC (specialized store in electronic articles, music, movies and books) to most of the clothes shop like H&M, Bershka, Sfera, Pimkie, Foot Locker, Camper, etc.

There are so many people that you'll usually find people giving surveys or TV stations filming. During Christmas time, it is quite impressive watching the number of people going shopping

It is worth a walk

Preciados street is one of the most commercial streets in this part of Madrid. Especially busy during the shopping season (see Christmas, etc.), it is a direct connection to Puerta del Sol and Gran Vía via Callao Square. On each side, there is a multitude of shops of all types and big malls. As a result, locals try to avoid going there during the aforementioned periods or they end up succumbing and going there to get the present they need. Without a doubt a place worth a walk.
