Swimming area is very clean
Opera is one of Nice's public beaches close to the port, market area, and Opera, hence its name. Like all public beaches in Nice, the installations are minimal and are basically comprised of a simple shower. There are many restaurants, bars, and hotels in the area. It is a pebble beach, which makes walking uncomfortable if you don't wear the proper footwear. The water quality, however, is very good and the swimming area is very clean.
